  What We Do

Brazil: Festa Junina

Festa Junina is a thirty-day-long event celebrated in Brazil all throughout the month of June. The festival is chock-full of events reminiscent of those of European Midsummer, celebrating things like the harvest and saints such as Saint Anthony, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Peter. Brazilians celebrate Festa Junina with festive eating, drinking, and dancing.

Argentina: Chamamé National Festival

The Chamamé National Festival is a celebration of Chamamé, an Argentinian form of music and dance and one of the country’s most prominent forms of cultural expression. The festival is held in Corrientes City and lasts for ten days, making it one of the longest summer festivals in South America.

Columbia: Manizales Fair

The Manizales Fair, Manizales’s own cultural New Year’s celebration, is a melting pot of Colombian, European, and Spanish traditions. People can attend the festival to experience bullfights, craft shows, folk and orchestra concerts, and more. The pinnacle of the event, however, is the International Coffee Pageant, where women compete for the title of “International Queen of Coffee.”
